I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.
Generally ok. I threw a music library weighing under 50 gigs on the card through the reader. The process at first took about an hour, but on the last five gigabytes it slowed down and threw another hour. However, this is not critical, I had something to do. As for the rest, time will tell.
