How wonderful! Do not throw!
From experience I can say it is BEAUTIFUL, not plastic. I was careless and got caught on a hook in my hair and the comb flew out of my hands and a bunch of teeth broke off. Before I dropped it, it did a great job of diffusing my natural oils throughout my strands. I liked it very much. Can buy another!
