I have ordered a replacement Retainer Brite for the remainder of my Invisalign treatment despite being told that packaging and formula have changed. I received the product two days ago and I agree with all the recent reviews. The box is the same, there are definitely no tablets. Older tablets (which worked very well) had white packaging with purple "Retainer Brite" on it and a purple website. The new tablets have gray text that says "Dentply Sirona". The Difference: The old tablets were odorless and had a foaming effect that seemed to really clean your retainer/device. After you dropped the pill, the warm water you added turned the mixture a light blue color that turned clear after 15-20 minutes. New pills smell a strange chemical smell from the moment you open the pill pack. The water will still turn blue, but it won't foam. Basically it's like water with blue food coloring. The blue dissolves very slowly and leaves traces on the mount/device. I bought a six month supply so I don't have to buy them again but trust the latest reviews. There's probably something much better out there now. I will wash my Invisalign aligners with soap after every pill. *Update: After using three tablets I have decided to return the entire order. They just don't do anything except color the water. I have ordered cleaning tablets from M3 Dental and will post a comparative review once I use them.
