I bought this wall outlet for my 5 wheel trailer. If you have 2 phones and 2 tablets, conveniently located outlets will run out pretty quickly. I mounted it on the wall above the kitchen counter so not only do I now have 3 outlets instead of 2, but I also don't have to use any of them to charge my phones and tablets. No more unplugging one thing to plug in another; No more having to keep track of 4 AC/USB wall adapters either crammed into valuable desk drawer space or cluttering up a small tabletop! All outlets and USB ports work as expected and I haven't had any issues. A screw was also included to stabilize the unit, which doesn't seem to be included with all wall outlets based on reviews I've read for other units. I didn't use retractable mounts as I prefer to leave the phones on the table top as I have a better view than if they were on the wall. I can't comment on how well they work or don't stand up to use, but I can say they go in and out smoothly. They don't look or feel particularly durable, but since their only function is to hold the phone while charging, I'd say they'll hold up well as long as they're not abused. USB cables, but they've since found good use with other electronics in my house that I don't take with me when I travel.
