The steel version is surprisingly well made, it appears to be a machined block of stainless steel with a fairly nice finish and tight tolerances, so perfect for the plastic tubing. I've worn it for several months, refilled several times and it works as advertised. Unfortunately, it's impractically heavy to carry on a keychain - it would be great if you plan on clipping it to a bag or whatever. The plastic version is MUCH lighter, much better for a keychain. but it is not strong enough for long-term daily use. Mine broke after a month or two of use. Now I'm thinking about replacing it with another brand that uses aluminum. They make a smaller version in titanium but that's not good enough for me. The large version lasts me about 2 weeks. You don't want to refill this thing every few days. I really wish they would offer a standard size aluminum or titanium version. It would certainly get 5 stars but none of the current options fit imo but I don't know of any better comparable options so 4 stars overall.
