Over the years the Hunter Douglas lampshade cord has snapped with three other matching shades (of the same colour) stuck in it Room. We were concerned that we would not be able to match the color of the new shade with others and that we would have to buy four new shades to match the colors and we could open and close all shades again. This pack and YouTube video helped us switch strings and keep the shade. It's easy to do if you follow the steps exactly as outlined in the accompanying documentation and watch the video. Sometimes it's a bit tedious and it takes patience, but after the repair, the umbrella works great.
