I have a 20.5 inch hips and a 33 inch waist. I ordered the larger sizes as the reviews said they ran small. They're almost perfect for the LARGE SIZE with a few small folds of extra material (extra room). Wash once and they're perfect! Run 10 miles cross country in a new, unwashed pair. They've held up great. Belt made of thicker ribbed material so great because it kept my nylon/poly shorts from sliding down while running. My camel back started leaking while running and I'm glad I wore them instead of cotton underwear. Cotton would hold water and hold weight. I got wet for 7 miles. After the run, I dried off quickly and was ready to go home.
