Great cheap portable fan with decent battery life

In September 2019 I decided to travel west and converted my Honda Fit into a tiny camper van. Knowing how hot it can get and how humid it can be sleeping in the car, I knew I needed a portable fan with a decent battery life that would keep me circulating for a full six hours as I tend to hot to sleep. Specifications: Weight: 221 grams, light enough to fit in a backpack (although the buttons are easy to press so it can turn on when grabbed or moved). Since it's so light it can easily tip over, especially when traveling, I wish it had some sort of hook or loop so it could be tied to something to stabilize it. The base has two small rubber pads that prevent it from sliding on the table but won't keep it upright when you bang on it. Size: 3.5" wide x 5.5" high x 1.5" deep. It's small enough to fit in your pocket but large enough to provide good airflow even with its small size. Battery: Battery life is around 6 hours on low, 4 hours on medium and 2-3 hours on high Charge time seems to depend on what you charge it with (external battery took about 4 hours, charger about 2) The battery used is a universally replaceable 18650 battery cell, which is quite common in portable battery devices. It uses a microUSB connector for charging, so you can use a phone charger or any universal microUSB cable to charge. Apparently, it can be used with an external battery will run on low settings with a dead internal battery, but will either not charge or charge very, very slowly if you leave the fan on while charging Performance: This little fan can be amazing move a lot of air. At the lowest setting, the airflow is approximately 4 miles per hour. The average speed is 7 miles per hour and around 10 miles per hour with a high pleasant breeze. The mid-range fan is about as loud as a computer fan getting hot, so it's by no means quiet, but I prefer white noise when I'm sleeping. We actually used it a few times to start our fire when the wood was a bit damp and difficult to light, it was very valuable at the time. Reliability/Durability: Having only used it for a couple of weeks during my trip, I can't comment on the quality of the components used. A common problem with inexpensive fans is bearing failure in the motor. I've knocked this fan around quite a bit, crushed it in my backpack a few times when I dropped it on the floor and knocked it over countless times. Haven't heard of a fan imbalance yet, but I'll update this review when I do. This is a fantastic investment. I was very surprised at how much air this fan could move when I first turned it on and found that the lowest setting was enough to get me to sleep. Small enough to fit in your purse or backpack but powerful enough to keep you cool on a 90 degree day, I have to recommend it if you are looking for a cheap portable fan.
