I bought this mainly to make it easier to clean the sweat when transferring the headset. It's definitely covered. What I didn't expect was to make the headset more comfortable. The way the silicone runs down the bridge of your nose makes it more comfortable on your face. The controller covers are nice and smooth with a ribbed area where they fit in the palm of your hand. There is an interesting way to connect to the controller, but no problems so far! also very easy to install
