They weren't easy to install. Chevrolet 2500 HD 2002 I had to mount them further than the instructions say. Also visit YouTube for helpful installation tips. The manufacturer limited himself to worthy instructions. Just two photos. Only one shows the bracket mounting holes on the rail and is enlarged so the alignment and direction is guesswork/trial and error. Be sure to place a towel on the cab roof to protect it from scratches during dry assembly. In any case, there is someone holding the opposite side, trying to find a middle ground on the railing where it fits. We ended up holding each side by moving them around until we found the correct position for the spacing between the brackets with the light mounted on them. Then I drilled a hole on the side, inserted the screw. Measure the distance from the bottom of the canopy to the cab roof. After leveling the opposite side, measure the gap so it is even. Then we drill and screw in a screw. I took a tape measure and checked the gap. My braces were a little off specification. We had to drill a bracket deeper into the weatherstrip on one side than the other to ensure equal clearance between the cab and the lights. After making sure both sides fit together, we drilled and screwed in the remaining 4 screws. Take your time, measure, measure, measure, dry then drill, have a beer too and get help 😉😁.
