Review on ๐Ÿšซ Targus 100W Slim Line Mobile Inverter: Discontinued Edition by Cody Howard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If you need affordable power on the go, this product is good despite the shortcomings

I bought a 100w Targus Slim Line portable inverter for international business travel. I'm tired of carrying two laptop batteries with me for 7-9 hour flights. The product works as intended and is quite small compared to other similar devices. It can power up to two devices simultaneously (1 USB input and 1 US jack input). What more can you ask for for only $45? Some caveats: 1. The fan is very noisy. You don't notice it on the plane because it's noisy in the cabin anyway. the fan is noisy in the car when people don't speak loudly.2. the device emits a strange smell.3. If you are using a powerful laptop, you may need to remove the battery depending on the year, brand, aircraft model, etc. If you don't do this, the power supply (at least on the Airbus 330) will turn off every 5 seconds.
