I work in IT and Engineering with Atari 2600 and Commodore for 64 days. I can honestly and reliably say that this item is junk. I've seen higher quality products come out of the cereal box. When moving files between some computers with an SD card, I managed to insert/eject the SD card THREE times before it just died. If you pinch a cheap plastic case, it will come alive for about a minute and then die again. The supplied USB extension cable is also NOT compatible with USB-II. I thought I might reuse the extension cable, but it can't provide enough power for most USB devices that require USB power. The wire used is very thin, even thinner than the cable used in most in-ear headphones. I wonder if this even meets the USB-I specs. In short, it was all about. Throwing it away was cheaper than sending it back. It's too cheap to even bother with a return or RMA.
