Nice coat for my little one. The reflective strips are a great touch as it gets dark so early at this time of year. It is a waterproof layer with a light fleece lining. In general I would say this is an average weight. Warm enough for 60s temps, won't wear it (or wear a sweater underneath) in colder weather. However, the dimensions are huge. We bought the 3T for my 2 year old and it was incredibly big. He just turned 3 and is still swimming in it. For example, we should roll up our sleeves an inch. It will easily fit him until he is 4 years old, possibly longer. He's not a big guy, but he's not tiny either - 75th percentile of height.
