Review on Efficient Diamond Drilling for Porcelain with DrilaxTM Bathroom Tool by Devin Girard

You get what you pay for

First, for the price the bits were good. I got several sizes of diamond drill bits for less than $40 and they worked great for the first two holes in 3cm granite. 2 holes in each was their maximum, and this was done while constantly drilling into water at slow speed for about 30-45 seconds, vacuuming the hole (both water and particulates), then watering again and repeating to the end. The 2" bit held up better than the 1/4" bit in granite, but neither of them would be used for the third hole, which is a shame because I have to drill four 1/4" holes, no only two. I have since bought another 1/4" chisel which cuts through the other two holes with no problem and still has diamond grit on the tip after the two holes. These other parts were more expensive so like I said in the title you get what you pay for because if you cut softer or thinner materials you will obviously end up with more holes cut with matched bits. I had to cut from the top with a 2" hole saw, then level and cut from the bottom to go to the end. Reading reviews understands this.
