
This robot is well designed and documented. The only difficulty I had with the installation was the small size of the screws, so I used a magnetic screwdriver instead of the one that came with it. The kit includes an Arduino-based remote control and two software remote controls: an Android app and a PC/Mac/Linux version written in the Processing language (Processing is a Java wrapper). As a software developer, I took it on as a challenge to create my own iOS remote control app. My goal was to synchronize all the movements of the robot with the image of the virtual robot on the screen. It turned out fine, so I submitted it to the App Store. It is available there under the name Quadruped3D.
