This is a great headset and quite comfortable and I can wear it 8 hours a day with no problems. I don't know why it's called a black wire when the wire is clearly red. I saw a comment where someone obviously didn't look at the pictures and assumed the wire is black based on the name. The wire is red in the pictures and is actually red. I work from home so wire color doesn't matter to me. The noise cancellation works well, I like the volume controls and the mute function. When you press the mute button, you will hear a voice prompting you to turn the sound on/off. And if the sound is on and you start speaking, it will show that the sound is on, so you don't start a conversation that no one else can hear. So this is very useful. It also has a red light that lights up when the sound is on. It feels like good quality. I also have a Plantronics (Poly) C3210 which isn't as good or as comfortable as the 5210. It costs money for a better headset.
