I haven't been able to fully examine them yet, but I had 4 linked together, aided by wire, and after a week of use, the entire chain failed. I suspect the built in fuse has blown since my GFI is still running and non-GFI sources are not lit. If a fuse issue is the cause, I would caution anyone against buying this product. They do not contain any additional fuses and when installed beyond 10 feet they are quite difficult to replace. Not at all happy with this "off the shelf" product. To update. I replaced the first fuse on the first circuit and that was indeed the problem, but two of the bulbs on that line were also blown. All fuses in all four strings were blown. what a pain Update #2 The problem was in the 3rd line on line 4. After changing the fuses twice each the first 3, I replaced the 3rd string entirely and after 3 days it seems to be working as it should. Very frustrating. It took me as long to remove and replace that 3rd string as it took me to tune all 4 strings.
