My wife and I have a small real estate rental business; and our tenants are always willing to lend tools like hammers and wrenches for odd jobs; and we often don't get them back. That's why I'm always on the lookout for economical tools that get the job done but don't cost so much that you have to lock them up. I would rate this set about the same level as the ones I get from Harbor Freight. Thanks to the soft handles, the tools are functional and comfortable to use. They are the right size for household or automotive applications. But if we lose one or two, it won't break the bank. It's also a good set to carry in your car for roadside emergencies - not as useful as a socket set, but better than using your bare hands. The tools are small enough to be stowed in the center console or glove box, and the range can do a lot of small jobs that might otherwise leave you stuck.
