When you first open the box you get a good idea of the quality (although my particular box was badly damaged). But the product box looks like a fancy gift box and the towel rail has been wrapped in a foam bag - well protected. What I like best is that the wings don't just swing freely, they're pretty stiff and only move when you move them. then stay right there. Perfect. Installation was a breeze. It took about 5 minutes. Quick Tip: Be sure to tighten all the screws on the back before attaching it to the wall. The screws that attach the bottom hook and real arms to the mount so they don't wobble and feel very secure. Love the bronze color, the slight antique, the screw-capped screws to hide them, and the overall heavy, solid feel. Full recommendation! Very important. Doesn't look cheap.
