I have owned and used one of these FX2000 shotguns for a number of years and have used them regularly in my shop. I'm old fashioned and could never master HVLP. This is a conventional top feed gun that meets state overspray regulations. For those of you who say you should use 80psi. To get good results you need to reduce the color a bit. Also, those trying to compare this to a $35 HF gun are now charging $150-$200 for a comparable atomizer. I definitely recommend this gun. UPDATE A bad serve problem happened to me today and the problem is that the hole in the glass lid is clogged. Too small. Take an awl and prick it a little. The color settles perfectly.
