Husband did not take care of the leather chair and cracking and color fading appeared over time. I chose this brown repair kit and was happy with the result. As other reviewers have noted, the customer support is awesome! I agree that choosing the right color is very important. The product tends to dry darker. Applying my mixture with a cotton swab lightly dipped in alcohol has worked best for me. This is especially true when covering an area that is not cracked but has faded or faded paint. Unfortunately, I took before and after photos in different lighting conditions. In the photo after, the color is more accurate. Photos in this order: chair, headrest before, headrest after, right elbow before, right elbow after, left elbow before, left elbow after. I did a spot repair by fraying the edges rather than a general application and the kit was sufficient to cover the areas written and the left and right areas with product residue.
