Review on M B Sturgis Inc STURGI Stay Fitting by Corey Ford

Warning! The valves are leaking. I bought this QD Sturgis stay connection kit to fit between my propane tank and regulator in my RV. During my first test, I noticed that a ball valve only leaked out of the valve stem when it was switched on. I tried tightening the screw holding the small handle but to no avail. I called the MB Sturgis customer service representative. I explained the problem in detail and he replied that I should complain to the retailer as I didn't buy it directly from them. I explained that this was a manufacturing defect and not a distribution issue. He did not care. So I bought another quick release valve from another manufacturer. That works fine. But I also found that another MB Sturgis quick release valve was also leaking. Not when it's on, not when it's off, but it's bad when it's rotated just 45 degrees. I will replace it too. I realize that MB Sturgis cares little about the quality of their products.
