I'm sure it would be very easy to install if you had round handlebars but I don't have them. They provide the adapter I use. The adapter is somewhat flexible and additionally springy due to the non-rigid material. The attachment ball is not the usual 17mm, so the reducer cannot be used. Installed just a week ago, and the weather is 50-70 degrees, a light rain one day. I haven't had any problems up to 140 km/h. We'll see how it handles the 115 degree heat in Arizona this summer. At the moment it seems relatively well made and rainproof. It is very convenient to insert the phone by gently squeezing and pinching your hands. A simple squeeze with one hand opposite the trigger and it's off. I don't miss my X-Grip at all! I have Gel Skin on an iPhone and it's holding up pretty well. I can't measure the power of the charge, but it wirelessly charged my iPhone 10xs from 5% to 37% in 26 minutes with the GPS speedometer app running and the screen at full brightness, so I'd say it is Great! I made the mistake of leaving the power switch on once a night. In 8 hours it drained the battery of my BMW K1600. DON'T LEAVE IT ON! I've since installed a relay so it only gets power when the bike is running. I highly recommend it if you have round bars. If not, I still recommend checking the adapter regularly as it hasn't proven itself yet.
