First of all. Used in combination with the Seaflo drain pump/shower box. The original control "device" with the shower tray was a thin piece of rubber that acted as a damper and failed after 2 years of minimal use. With a short piece of flexible tubing and o-rings, this check valve works great. Looks solid, but cannot be disassembled for testing, so there are no spare parts. I still intend to pinch and drain the line when winterizing with water system antifreeze to ensure the return water doesn't expand and rupture the plastic body of the check valve.
