I have collected so many of these. I literally don't even want to think about how many racks I have. Probably a hundred or more. These have a smaller diameter. The metal looks thinner and cheaper. I'm not so sure about the quality. I needed them immediately to store thousands of software disks, hard drives, switches, network devices, etc. I needed this size and it was much easier to just push a button on the Revain. I think all 4 shelves hold 300 pounds each? HEEEEEECK NO! I had to see it to believe it! Will each shelf hold a hundred? Definitive. 200? May be. 300 x 4 is 1200 pounds. I don't think sticks as thin as they are can hold that much weight. Just my opinion. I've noticed that the lines on the bars look deeper than some I've assembled. While I like it because it means a better grip on the tongue, it also scares me since they are thin metal bars. The shelves look ok. There are no complaints about them. In terms of assembly, I can install them in about 5 minutes each. I have a system designed to take that long. MY SYSTEM: Open the box by tearing along the seam. Scatter it across the floor like a caveman. Take your SMALL knife and remove the plastic strips (I'll use them again! Insert the tip of the knife into the end under the tongue and while holding the knife firmly under the tongue, open the strip. It's ready for the next use (I will explain later. Be careful with this. I often cut with plastic strips.) DO NOT REUSE THESE STRIPS. I'm just so careful. Cut the cardboard from the racks. Pull the racks out of the sleeve. Lay down all 8 pillars. Assemble in the following order 1) the legs, the pin that connects the two posts, the top cover. Tighten and move on to the next bar. Set a shelf aside and insert all 4 drawers. Insert the connectors and slide the lower shelf down. Press your hand on each of the 4 poles. Lift the shelf vertically and tighten all 4 with a rubber band. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Repeat for each shelf and you're done. It takes me about 5 minutes to get up. Looks wise, they look great. No other style of shelving compares to them. I like that they let light through so each shelf is lit from above. I've used all the big brands. Metro, Tribest, Regency, etc. They're all the same, just the poles are much smaller. Overall a great product, just the thickness of the bars doesn't guarantee it. In the past, 1-inch rods were still used in such small devices. I wish they were still in use. But for the price I think they're ok. Just hope they don't make them thinner than they already are. If you find this review, PLEASE press the USEFUL button! Thank you for reading.
