It takes a little time to set up, but once you get the hang of it, it's very easy. Some of the reviews I've read are either based on a previous version of the software, or the facts are just made up since there aren't really many tweaks that you as an end user can make. The minimum gallons per event and rain timer are really helpful. But it works, and that's the main thing. Fill the tub and the water will turn halfway off, visual and audible alarms will go off on the device, and emails and notifications will appear on your phone. That's basically what I wanted. If your pipe breaks you will certainly suffer water damage, but 27 gallons is a lot better than 800 or more if left unchecked. The software is clunky and keeps asking you to log in again, which is downright annoying. It also doesn't mention that it won't read your gallons properly for some time, as it has to learn your system based on pressure and temperature. Still, great peace. I placed remote water sensors next to the washing machine, dishwasher and one in the utility room where all the pipes come together next to the water heater and boiler. Hope that helps.
