Review on KAWELL Universal 2 Lead LED Light Bar Wiring Harness Kit: Reliable, Waterproof 12V 40A Fuse Relay for Offroad, Driving, Fog, and Work Lights by Rob Sanchez

There was a time I actually thought it was a great wiring system but that was before it caught fire and melted on my dash last night. I will NOT recommend this product to your family or friends, maybe your worst enemies, but that's about it. Story: My buddy noticed my lightbar was on and thought I accidentally pushed the toggle switch and was about to turn it off. However, the toggle switch was not activated and seemed normal at first glance. Upon closer inspection, there was a small amount of play in the toggle switch where it connected to the wire. With a little excitement, I was able to turn my lightbar on and off by simply flicking a toggle switch on the cord and never pressing the on/off button. This caused concern. That being said, I never got a chance to investigate further or part with my machine because it started to get warm to the touch and then started smoking almost immediately after. As the interior of my car began to quickly fill with foul smoke, I popped the hood of my car and cut the wires from the battery (which were properly installed). The smoldering wire slowed the smoke and the crisis ended. Unfortunately, I have a burned hand, wire burn marks where they melted the dashboard's plastic, and a car interior that smells worse than a skunk with irritable bowel disease. It's time to say goodbye to that Kawell wiring harness! Thanks for the memories (and the burn blisters on my arm).
