For me there are no fragments.
Mine arrived intact but was recommended by a friend. If I had played with them first, I would have known they weren't for me. The colors are great, but when I use an easel I see just as much charcoal powder falling on the floor as on paper. and when I gasp, some of it falls off too. On the other hand, if my boyfriend ever goes out, I'll have a barely touched (but intact/whole again) set.
- Add water for added versatility and additional artistic potential, including splashes and washes.
- Could have chosen a newer model.
