This pendant tie is too short for my pendant. My trailer has a trailer hook over the window. When on the hook, this tie isn't long enough, and because it's not adjustable, it doesn't allow the horse to lower his head low enough to chew hay or clear his throat when he needs to cough. Another issue with this tie is the clasp. The clasp has no...how should I describe it...protrusion to release the clasp (see second photo). This makes it extremely difficult to quickly undo the clasp to attach it to the holster (I have to undo it with both hands). It takes forever to open and attach to a horse's halter. I'm reviewing this product because the design is terrible and I found a similar stretch tie from another brand, Tough-1, which has a hem design on the quick release buttons (see third photo). I'm not happy with the one I bought and I need to find a new tie that can accommodate longer lengths and is easier to open.
