No pad, hard soles, cheap.
I've only been running with Asics for about 20 years. This pair is either a fake or an anomaly. There is no shock absorber - the sole and insole are made of hard plastic. Cheaply sewn - the stitching and assembly is sloppy, so the roughness and wrong-side flaws are a constant annoyance. Ridiculous price $119. I'll try to get store bought pads for some sort of impromptu quality, but I've learned my lesson: mail order shoes are bullshit. avoid them.
