Significantly increases static!

I really wanted to like this rug. Visually, it is light years ahead of the anti-slip mat I replaced. There were also clear differences in sound. Here the good news ends. With new records, pieces of cork keep breaking off, which makes the B-side unplayable without significant cleaning, as well as static charging. I cannot describe how much the static charge has increased! There have been instances where I ALSO LIFTED THE CORK MAT when lifting the disc off the platter. Seriously, the mat stuck to the floor like glue due to static electricity. return for refund.
