This is an absolutely amazing gate. I bought three! I have mobility issues and the fact that there are gates I don't have to jump through is a huge plus as I'm not Maureen Caird. For those who don't know, she won this event at the Olympics. Every other gate I had to try to make that jump but I never made it, breaking the gate and damaging some very vulnerable areas in the process. I don't come to my senses standing on a stool, and neither does my two-year-old great-grandson. I'm happy because, as an Italian grandmother, I always like to see my little friend. Before the gate came his mother wouldn't let him come as I couldn't stop him and he ran up the stairs laughing at my attempts to get him down. Finally a product that made my life easier, allowed me to see my grandson more often and still go to the kitchen to stir the sauce. Well I think he's trying to reconstruct the gate somewhere to understand how it works. I'm not worried, he's safe. My gates are open! The pranks on him are amazing, worth every penny and really cute. Okay, maybe you don't think they're pretty, but I still have plastic cases. you got it right But now I have this baby and I couldn't be happier. Buy them, you will like them.
