When I first installed them I was a bit disappointed, they had less bass (noise) than the factory speakers for the base audio group in the 2019 Dodge Challenger. The base speakers are a single 6x9 cone with 15W RMS power. These speakers are Kicker rated at 90W RMS, so I keep the factory 50W x 4 main unit and barely push it more than halfway. These speakers are three-way, so I immediately noticed a wonderful purity of music compared to the factory speakers. I ended up turning the high frequencies down to make them sound more natural. They produced less bass noise than the factory speakers, and I say hiss because the bass that comes out of these speakers is a crisp, clean hum. Since I don't have many of these, they sound great even at maximum volume, with no distortion. After some EQ adjustments they sound louder, clearer and generally much better than the factory speakers. To reach their full potential, they must be connected to an amplifier. Exceptional entry into the midrange. In fact, the slightly less loud bass rumble from them doesn't bother me. I'm happy with the volume and clarity as I have 2x12" subwoofers behind the back seat.
