Good case for your early Jeep CJ-5 or CJ-6

This case is a great replacement for a low quality OEM part offered by Omix-Ada. The rubber part of the Omix will tear, but this one won't. This is also the correct overall diameter. Punch holes for the screws with a hole punch. Cut off part of the tip that is sticking out of the top of the boot and with a liberal pre-application of silicone spray it slides easily over the larger diameter CJ shifter.
