The cable was a very good size and even wire cutters could be used. Not to be confused with a high-end tool, but it didn't fray the cable where it was cut, so it was good for a limited-use project. Marine grade T316 is essential for an outdoor project if you don't want the cable to discolor so don't go cheap. I used this on a cable railing project and couldn't be happier. Proper sizing is also important as the cable needs to work well with all devices/connectors/tensioners. I priced my project at a local big box price and saved over 50% searching for cable components on Revain and the web. I am very very happy with this cable and have been using it for 6 months now.
