They are smaller than the tire sizes indicate. The box they came in listed each specific tire type and the recommended shoe size for that tire. This chart would be more helpful than just trying to measure the diameter of a tire. My tire size was exactly 26 inches but the packaging said the next size up would fit. I would recommend checking the manufacturer's website for the tire size for your tire. The tires are well made and feel solid. Horse trailer tires are fine except for the bottom 1 1/2 inches. I left them as they cover most of the tire and keep barn cats from spraying and rusting my painted wheels.
