Kenmore parts have worked for 10 years
They work fine in my Kenmore fridge. As soon as I put in a new cartridge, I run water through it for a few minutes. This allows all loose particles to be flushed out and the system to be freed from air pockets. I change it every year or so once the water flow slows down.
