They are perfect. The other day I was fiddling with my devices, disconnecting various USB cables while trying to sort out the clutter. As a retired engineer, I figured why not design a rollable USB cable that would keep all of these things neat and tidy? I go to Revane and voila! There are many to choose from. Like most of my brilliant ideas, someone has already done it. I read the reviews and chose these guys. For $4 each in two packs, I ordered four (two, two packs). You are tiny. So I plugged them into a couple of USB jacks I had installed and the mess was gone. They work great and charge as fast as a wall wart. You pull out as many of these as you need (2.5 feet max) and they stick wherever you put them. Another simple tug and they're out. Nice. They are not durable, so use them with care. In order for them to work properly, they must be pulled on both ends at the same time, otherwise you will lose the cable on one side. My USB outlet holds this end in place, so I only have to tug on which end I want to use. I'm cheap so I'm going to give them away for Christmas this year. I guarantee they will be the most rewarding gift anyone will receive! They work for everything I have except Apple. Apple makes good products, but they insist on playing by the rules in everything, even a simple charging cable. You can buy similar devices for Apple products from other companies, but they're twice as expensive. This is an apple. I hate Apple for their proprietary stuff. In any case, they are great and work great. If I have to charge my iPod every two months, I can always unplug the Apple cable and put it away in the morning. They work with every other device I have. I am very happy.
