Please note that the items shown in the photos here and on the Eskimo website are one piece. But the ones you actually get are actually hollowed out, presumably to accommodate screws. Interestingly, the instruction manual, which you can download from the Eskimo website for this item, also shows that they are durable. But the instruction manual that you get with them has been updated to show they're hollowed out. Too bad they didn't update the picture here on Revain and on the Eskimo website. While the runners otherwise appear to be of good quality, if you're looking for the longest possible lifespan, solid runners may not be for you as they certainly won't last as long as if they were one piece. If you don't mind an updated version, please do so.
