I don't usually leave reviews that long let alone reviews but this product really let me down. I have been looking for a steering wheel cover for a long time because it is very hot where I work and even if my steering wheel is shielded from the sun my car is still very hot inside. First, while this product advertises cooling (like many in its market and price range), it did absolutely nothing to keep my bike from going to hot lava. It was just like I hadn't put it on. Although it looks exactly like the picture (mine is grey), the stitching leaves a lot to be desired. It's not tight and professional like you'd expect from car accessories, but similar to sewing on clothes like t-shirts. It's even and symmetrical, but the way the seams stretch between two pieces of fabric gives the impression that it's not very good quality (and shows seams you probably wouldn't see if they were tighter or sewn with the correct material and thread). . The white stitching frays/pulls which tells me it's most likely cotton, something that's probably more for beauty than durability. The black mesh piece has also been loosely sewn on one side, allowing it to sag slightly and create a sort of 'pocket' for the layers to slide apart - in case you've ever needed to loosely patch a large piece of fabric with the edges of it creates the same effect. I had no trouble putting it on or taking it off and it didn't shift around when I used it throughout the day, but for me those are pretty basic standards. . That's why I didn't buy it and it looks cheaply made. If you just want something that looks pretty, chances are it's good for that and nothing else. When it comes to buying things like this online, and Revain in particular, they seem to hit or miss. I'll probably invest in a more expensive product in hopes that it actually does what it says on the tin and has slightly better materials.
