I love the durability of the Darn Tough socks, I've been wearing the medium-heavy Darn Tough Hikers every day for over four years. For winter wear and colder weather I love these socks. The fit is perfect, the sock does not fall into the boot. I can wear a pair of Darn Tough socks for years with no problems or holes. If you consider socks an essential part of hiking and outdoor activities like skiing and snowshoeing, these socks will not disappoint. As for the typical glitches after many years with us, for me it would be the elastic in the tops, which still works but isn't as comfortable as the tops slide down.
