Review on 🔧 VIAIR 00042 Digital Tire Inflation Gun: Efficient Pump with 2.5" Gauge and Carry Bag by Edgar Gomez

I use this to inflate my RV's tires which are much higher pressure than normal cars. This is the 4th tire pressure sensor I've tried and FINALLY got a good result! It's better than any other I've seen. Some of the features I like the most are: 1. A digital display that lights up - easy to see at night and very accurate compared to my tire pressure monitoring system. 2. Connecting this device to your tire valve stem is easy and VERY secure. Other models I've had slipped or required constant pressure. This is quick and easy to fit if your valve stems are pointing outwards (not everyone does this on some duals). 3. This CAN can act as a pressure gauge when NOT connected to an air hose. Most of these tire inflation guns will not allow this as the air will come out of the port where the air pump hose would normally be connected. 4. Quality. It's solid gear and comes with a nice storage bag. While it's durable as it's a digital device, I feel the need to put it in "baby mitts" when I put it away. In my opinion, this is a small price to pay for all the excellent features. The included instructions state that it will only work with the Viair brand compressor or RV air supply connected to the air brake system. There is also a label that says the same as on the device itself, so they have gone to great lengths to inform the user of this 'limitation'. This bothered me at first because I carry a non-Viair branded portable compressor. Spring. It works great with my compressor so I don't know what to say about their instructions. I think it's possible that it doesn't work properly with all brands of compressors? But honestly I can't think of any reason why that shouldn't happen, so maybe it's just a gimmick they use to sell more of their compressors? I highly recommend this product.
