Great little plant but the green tendrils that protrude from the base are quite tough and can scratch Betta scales. My rooster likes to rest on or under the leaves at the base and sometimes scratches the scales when swimming against them. The leaves are soft and pretty looking but unfortunately the green tendrils just don't work for my betta. I tried trimming the vines but the trimmed ends are pretty spiky too so I took the whole piece off. Disappointed that I couldn't keep it in my tank.
