I was cautiously optimistic when I bought this shower head. But after using it once, I ordered a second one for my other bathroom. There are 3 spray options. One of them is a strong direct jet that can be easily hidden behind shower walls. The other two options are luxurious and delicate. So pretty. And indeed, water softener balls really reduce skin dryness after a shower. Make no mistake with this purchase at a low price of less than $30! A note: the water stays in the head (and drains easily) between uses. I found that the hard water in my area quickly covered the (plastic) surface of the head with dried hard water deposits that partially blocked the water's normal splashing. These partially blocked holes sent micro currents in crazy directions. It is very easy to wash off with white vinegar and restore the correct spray. Obtain!
