This is a good electric pencil sharpener. I love that it has an auto stop for kids so they don't sharpen the whole pencil. This is a good feature. The pencil shaving area is quite large which was a big plus for me. It's not as durable as our last one, but it's quite durable and I'm glad I chose it. It was a good choice, it sharpens very well and is very sharp for a thin pencil point. I sharpened 100 pencils in a row to see how it would hold up and it kept working, didn't jam or freeze and worked at the 100. Pencil just as good as the first pencil.
