Review on Zadro Extra Large Premium Glamour Dual-Sided 5X/1X Magnification 💄 Wall Mount 12-inch Dimmable Bathroom Makeup Mirror in Satin Nickel by Brian Mendoza

Very nice, a bit heavy

I wanted to buy a bathroom mirror that is lit from all sides, but the apartment I rented has a built-in mirror in the first aid kit, which I couldn't get rid of, so I figured that would be a good alternative. Hanging it up was pretty easy, but I'm having trouble with it. It comes with a plate that you hang directly on the wall with 2 screws using fairly small dowels. It says to try fitting it into the stud and I agree because it's so heavy. The plate you hang on the wall makes it easy to use a bubble level and make sure the mirror is heavy. Once that is done, attach the mirror to the plate. I kept making adjustments because it seemed like the top of the mirror had come off the wall, but then I realized that wasn't the problem. The mirror is so heavy that it will shift no matter how strong it is. Then, as I tried to move and adjust the mirror's arms, I felt like it was about to fall out of the wall. I've found that you can relax your arms, which I'll do because I'm uncomfortable. The lighting function is very beautiful and gets brighter as you adjust it. The 5x magnification mirror is amazing, you can look into your soul. I could find brow hairs so light I didn't even know they were there, and I noticed it was a lot easier to apply mascara with them. When I looked at the price I was shocked to see that it was listed at $240. As good as the light and mirror are, I don't think I would pay more than $100 for it, let alone $240.
