It's not as effective as a reamer. In use, we saw that most of the juice in the pulp remained in the lemon zest. We then used an expander attached to a glass bowl and extracted almost as much juice from the "leftovers" of the bowl as came out of that juicer. It's easy to use. If you're more interested in simplicity and don't care about expenses, this might be for you. It's very sturdy and well made, so it should last a long time. I will upload photos of the packaging.
