Review on Electric Conversion Bicycle Controller Display Sports & Fitness by Eric Williamson

So far so good for wheels and accessories

Received this conversion kit on Friday 10th April, 2 days earlier than expected. That part was good. There are still no complaints about the components. Instructions are sparse, so don't expect much help. I tried the setup before installing the components and it seems to have worked. I then installed the display, brake levers, throttle, etc. and connected the wiring after routing it on the bike. Now it won't work. Now the display shows error E07, which means engine damage. I redid the setup with the "training" wires attached. At this point he appeared to be back to work. But then I tried again, exiting the setup and unplugging the "learn" wires, and again nothing. Kunrei says there is an installation video on Youtube so I watched it. I can't find such a video. So far this is very frustrating and not working. I'll comment on the instructions in more detail later, but first I'll contact the seller. Later more. Update April 18th: I have sent 3 emails to the seller on the day of writing this review and have not yet received a response. I made a few more attempts to get the system working and this is where I ended up. If I leave the "learning cables" connected, the motor runs with 5 levels of pedal assistance. However, the engine does not stop when braking, the pedal sensor does not work and the throttle works, but in fact the engine stops working. I conclude that the controller is bad. In addition, the engine is very anemic. With no load (raise the rear wheel on the ergometer and turn on the motor) the top speed achieved with level 5 pedals is 10.4 mph. I am returning the set and will no longer buy from this seller.
