Review on Peerless ST650P Tilt Wall Mount: Ideal Black Display Mount for 39-75 inch Screens by Ron Josey

Flat Screen TV Wall Mount

From the start the installation seemed easy. I finally mounted the wall mount. The instructions recommended drilling a 5/32" pilot hole in the cleat for the screws, but the screws were quite large (to ensure the cleat had a good solid connection I guess) and I was having a very hard time to get those anchor bolts in. The screwdriver slipped out of the slot without moving forward and I had to resort to a wrench or ratchet to finally seat the bolts. , something I wouldn't feel the loss of power. Then they had to use the brackets attached to the TV to adjust the tilt, but it took me a hell of a time to finally loosen them and pull one part of the frame out of another part of the frame to achieve the tilt (it took over 45 minutes). Then, with it installed on the back of the TV, the next adventure was attaching the brackets to the wall mount. We placed our TV in a higher position in the room and on stairs it was difficult for both my wife and I to look behind the TV to find the track and find and tighten the locking screw. I've seen these hinges and have to believe they're easier to access and install. Once the TV boots up, it's secure, and that's fine for its purpose.
