MUYI Waterproof Connectors

I found them to be comparable to actual Packard Electric/Delphi connectors used in the past. Use requires an understanding of how to properly crimp the pins and assemble them into the appropriate housing. Socket pins fit into plug housing and vice versa (see photo). Cases are identified by the lower case letters A and B. In industry, remember that A is HOT and B is OFF. Therefore B+ (power) is connected to terminal A and you follow the protocol. The right crimping tool makes this job easier and you get a solid, watertight connection without soldering. Soldering increases the risk of melting OR soldering waterproof connectors before the rubber gasket is crimped. If you ever need to remove the link from the body, please purchase a removal tool with a YELLOW handle as shown in the photo. Squeezing the YELLOW handle around each connector will depress the "notches" and allow you to easily remove the wire. Simultaneously push the wire into the connector with the extraction tool to release the "notches" and then gently pull the wire back out of the housing. These quick disconnects are ideal when you suspect water may be present, in cars, boats or outdoors.
